Happy New Year and welcome to an absolutely astonishing days diving!

Some of the worst weather all year met our divers at the turn of the new year. Most people would choose to stay in bed yet the brave few that decided to look past the heavy wind and rain managed to get a glimpse of two fantastic sights.

First were our guests who were on safari in Menjangan. During their dive to garden eel point they were able to meet with a magnificent whale shark! It is not to be understated that whale sharks are not very common at all in these waters so to get a real close up view of one was a very special occasion. The whale shark came within only a few meters of the divers so they were excited, to say the least.

We are still waiting for the divers to return from their dive safari so hopefully we will be able to post some pictures of the whale shark when they get back to South Bali.

The other divers who headed off to Nusa Penida were also in for a shock when they came across a Mola Mola on on eof their dives. It is well out of season for the Mola Mola at the moment although they had a really good sighting. It was not on one of the normal Mola Mola dive sites so it was a even bigger shock for them.

It just goes to show that the bad weather didn't hamper the diving. More tomorrow!

Every day at Blue Season Bali, there is always something new happening. In order to keep you up to date with what is going on, we have created some news web pages for you. Our instructors update their diving information almost daily so it's a good idea to keep visiting these pages to see what we are doing, and what we have been seeing out in the Bali oceans.
